It has always been seen that whenever evil appeared, it came in the disguise of being for the betterment. Evil never appears in the real color of being harmful to the people. On the day Adam and Eve were enticed by Satan, it was also under the color of betterment for the humanity. According to Quran the Satan said to them that if they tasted the fruit of the forbidden tree, they would either become Angeles or immortal. The Quran says “Then Satan whispered to them that he might manifest unto them that which was hidden from them of their shame, and he said: Your Lord forbade you from this tree only lest ye should become angels or become of the immortals. And he swore unto them (saying): Lo! I am a sincere adviser unto you 7-22”.

Similarly, what ever is happening in the world with the female sex is and has emerged under very attractive and charming slogans of “emancipation of women and freedom of women” . However, a person is at see to understand as to whatever is happening under the garb of these attractive slogans is upgrading our dishonouring the women. If we go 40 years back, almost all the ladies whether educated or otherwise commanded respect. If a lady has been seen standing in the bus, at least ten persons stood up to offer her the seat. This was not in city buses only but even if the journey was for fifty miles. If a lady was in queue at any place, men allowed her to supersede them. That is not the case today, what is reason. Only that woman came out of her sphere of duty willy-nilly, transgressed the bounds and the people did not respect her now. This extension in the sphere of duties has caused great strain on the women. On the one hand, they have to discharge their natural duty of motherhood i.e. pregnancy , giving the birth and , nourishing the children and on the other hand working as man .Even if a man wished to help her in discharging her natural duties ,he can not do so. Consequently, the woman has to discharge natural duties and work outside home. Her life becomes very irksome.

This so called emancipation has been a problem for those countries also from where the feminist movements started. It is immaterial whether those problems had been foreseen by the advocates of feminism or not.. They brought the woman out of the home thus showing favour to her. Is it a favour or just to exploit her as women? In every country, we see that this innocent soul has been always subjected to exploitation by her employer, officers and sometimes the colleagues.
The sexual exploitation is rampant in every walk of life. This has not been a problem for the women only but the children have also to suffer. They are subjected by the babysitters to sexual harassment. In the case there are no babysitters then the children are not looked after by the mother because of being out of the home and the children adopt deviant behavior. It is also evident from the data that the rape and attempt to rape is also very common in the factories, colleges, schools and other places. This has given rise to the enactment of laws for protection of woman. Though very serious punishment has been provided for this, but these laws have failed to protect woman from this menace. The figures in these advanced countries are horrifying and really an eye opener for us. In 2005, there were 191,670 victims of rape, attempted rape or sexual assaults according to the 2005 National Crime Victimization Survey. Of the average annual 200,780 victims in 2004-2005, about 64,080 were victims of completed rape, 51,500 were victims of attempted rape, and 85,210 were victims of sexual assault. Because of the methodology of the National Crime Victimization Survey of USA, these figures do not include victims 12 or younger. While there are no reliable annual surveys of sexual assaults on children, (the Justice Department has estimated that one of six victims are under the age of 12 .http://www.rainn.org/statistics/ index.html. The said site has also to say on the reporting of this crime"Estimates from research suggest that between 75 and 95 per cent of rape crimes are never reported to the police.” This is America; let us have a bird’s eye view of Britain. The total number of sexual offences recorded by police in England and Wales, in the year ending March 2006, was 62,081 (Source: Crime in Britain and Wales 2005-2006.This is very similar to the previous year's figures of 62,084. . However the eastern countries are dazzled with the western civilization as well as by the American society. The eastern society is imitating these societies without seeing the pros and cons of this kind of behavior of the west. Consequently, they also share the destruction caused by the so called “emancipation or freedom of women”.

The horrible side of the situation is that the lady is used for advertising to such an extent, that it seems men have no place or role in the life. Women are present not only in the advertisement of goods which are exclusively meant for the ladies or the things used by the both, men and women. The women are brought also in the advertisements for the goods which are exclusively meant for the male. For instance, while advertising the shaving cream the presence of half naked woman is necessary. This society has been exposing the body of women on one or other pretext. This has changed the outlook of younger generations. They seldom care for those moral standards which are necessary even for healthy sexual life.
Though we have yet not reached to those anxieties as are faced by the modern societies of USA and England. However, we have been facing and are facing according to the proportion we have exposed the woman. The problems of AIDS, Divorce rate and break down of the marriage ties are increasing more and more. If the control is not exercise very soon our fate will not be different from those societies.

The sex exploitation, domestic cruelty and extra burden over the woman, in modern societies, has made the life of woman miserable besides giving rise to social problems. However, the women in those countries pose of being very happy in that situation. Even than certain woman of those societies openly declared that their life has become miserable due to the fact of this so called “emancipation and freedom of women”.

The advocates of feminism often argue that so long as you conceal a thing from the others, curiosity develops in others to see it.. Same is the case of the women. If you conceal her in the clothes and Veils, it’ll give rise to other problem as the people will make every effort to see her. Had this been corrected, there would not have been any trace of sexual exploitation in modern societies. All the persons in those countries should have become Angeles and no crime of this kind would have been committed. However, the data given utsupra does not support this. Concealing of women is also branded as challenge to honesty and nature of human being. Apparently, this argument seems plausible but we lock our doors when we go out and no one in the society says “You don’t trust your neighbors and other persons”. This never means that we must not allow women to work as this is their right and can not be denied .At the same time she must know that the exposure of the body and meddling with strangers is very dangerous not only for her but for the society as a whole. Whenever, she has to go out of her home she must observe the rules for the dress as declared by Islam .This will definitely grant her protection from the miscreants present in the society. The unnecessary exposure of the body is to be deplored and the clothes which are used for attracting others are to be used strictly according to this direction of the Quran. “O Children of Adam! We have revealed unto you raiment to conceal your shame, and splendid vesture, but the raiment of restraint from evil, that is best. This is of the revelations of Allah that they may remember. O Children of Adam! Let not Satan seduce you as he caused your (first) parents to go forth from the Garden and tore off from them their robe (of innocence) that be might manifest their shame to them. Lo! he seeth you, he and his tribe, from whence ye see him not. Lo! We have made the devils protecting friends for those who believe not. 7-26,27”
